In line with Government health advice and to ensure the health and safety of our communities, Nottingham Playhouse is currently closed both to the public and to our staff team.

Online Booking
You can book for future performances and events by clicking on the online booking icon on the individual events webpages. Please note that if you choose to have your tickets posted to you, these will be delivered no later than 2 weeks before the event is due to take place.

Please note, we are currently not accepting cheques as payment for existing reservations or memberships. As our building is currently closed, unfortunately there is no one available to process any cheques sent. If you need to discuss payment with us, please use the methods below to get in touch and we’d be happy to help.

How You Can Get in Touch with Us
If you have a specific query, please contact us by email at tickets@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk. We’ll be available by email Monday to Friday, 10am-5.30pm. We are also operating a limited phone service on 0115 941 9419, open 10am-2pm Monday to Friday, for those with more urgent queries. Don’t worry if you don’t get through straight away during these times – please hold and we’ll pick up as soon as we can.

Concessions

All discounts are shown in brackets and are available to under 16s, full-time students, people who are disabled, registered unwaged, members of the National Campaign for the Arts, BECTU and Equity.

NUS

Please note that you will need to present your NUS card if you have purchased tickets at the student rate.

Family Friendly

Some productions may not be suitable for children or will contain material which could cause offence. Box Office staff will be glad to advise you of the suitability of productions, if you’re not sure, please just ask.

Entry for Babies

Baby seats are £2 for all children under 1 year so parents can enjoy coming to the theatre. This service is free to Playhouse Pass members. Please note, this does not apply to certain productions which are designed for young children aged 0+, where standard ticket prices will apply.

Group Discounts

Enjoy discounts of up to 20% on Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company productions when you book 10 or more tickets. To find out more read our Group Visits page.

Tickets for Charities

We offer discounted tickets for community and charity organisations as part of our Hot House scheme.

School Visits

Tickets for schools are from £12 and one teacher goes free with every 10 tickets purchased for Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company productions. To find out more read our School Visits page.

Exchanges and Refunds

Tickets are non-refundable. We can offer to swap your tickets to a different performance of a Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company main-stage production as long as we have 24 hours notice of the first performance. This service is offered at a rate of £2 per ticket. Should the value of the tickets be higher however the difference must be paid. However no refunds will be given if you choose tickets of a lesser value. We regret tickets may not be exchanged between different productions. This service is free to Playhouse Pass members.

Reselling

Tickets must not be resold. This includes the resale of tickets for profit, in which circumstances The Management reserves the right to cancel the booking or refuse admission without notice and without being obliged to refund monies. We are able resell your tickets once a performance is sold out. We charge £2 per ticket for this service. This service is free to Playhouse Pass members.

Information at point of sale

All information is correct at point of sale. On rare occasions it may be necessary to change the published detail of the event including advertised performers and event times without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

Seat allocation

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to change a customer’s seat allocation. We will inform the customer at the earliest opportunity but will not be obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

Consumer Contracts Regulations

Backstage Pass memberships are subject to the Consumer Contracts Regulations 14 day cooling off period from the date of purchase providing no part has been used previously. (Event ticket purchases are exempt from this regulation).

Donate

As a registered charity, Nottingham Playhouse relies substantially on donations from supporters, as well as ticket sales. Donations help to secure our future, develop new programmes, maintain the very highest standards, commission new work, and entertain and educate even more people every year.
