Have you ever felt out of line with the way the world is going?
Would you like to see change in yourself, your community, your country, beyond?
This free 3-hour workshop offers an open space to meet other people and explore themes from Gecko’s show The Wedding as well as ideas that emerge from the group on the day.
Gecko has teamed up with the Transition Network, a movement of communities coming together to reimagine and rebuild our world. This workshop will be led by Gecko’s Artistic Director Amit Lahav in collaboration with Caroline Harmon from Marches Energy Agency, an independent charity specialising in the delivery of effective solutions to fuel poverty, and Transition Loughborough, a community driven movement aimed at reducing the dependence on fossil fuels and promoting local infrastructure.
Come in comfy clothes, expect some play, some discussion and hopefully some inspiration and change.
Tickets for this workshop are free with tickets purchased for the production of The Wedding.
