Join us this October Half Term for an exciting and varied week of family fun. Come and make, explore and play as we create pieces of drama, music and much more!

Activities are suitable for those aged 4 – 10 and their families. Our workshops have been designed for parents, carers and children to explore together, so we encourage all children to bring along a family member, or friend. We request that children aged 4 & 5 are accompanied by an adult.

FREE Poetry Stall and win tickets!

Feeling creative? Visit us and write a poem inspired by either Town Mouse and Country Mouse, or Cinderella for your chance to win two free tickets to Town Mouse and Country Mouse. We will also display a selection of poems in our foyer space during our Christmas Season!

Theatre Games, Skills and Storytelling – Monday 23rd October at 10am – 12pm

Children and parents will work together in this workshop to visit far off places, create mystical lands and build unique and amazing characters, whilst at the same time gaining basic drama related skills in a social and fun setting. The workshop is a great introduction to theatre for young children and their families.

Music and Singing – Tuesday 24th October at 10am – 12pm

Do you enjoy music and singing? In this unique workshop, discover how to create your own instruments, play percussion and explore rhythm and music in a fun, theatre environment. Together families can delve into the wonderful world of tempos and beats, sounds and song. What will you create?

A Morning at the Circus – Wednesday 25th October at 10am – 12pm

Roll up Roll up! Have you ever wanted to spin a plate, juggle scarves, master hula hoop, or make a human pyramid? Then come and run away to the Circus for the morning. Circus performer Ria Ashcroft will teach you all of these skills and more. This workshop is suitable for everyone, all abilities are welcome. This workshop will also be BSL interpreted.

Farmyard Troubles – Thursday 26th October at 10am – 12pm

There has been a storm! Farmer Brown and Farmer Blue need your help to straighten out the farm and rescue the hens. Come and join us on a multi-sensory adventure for all the family. Designed for families with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities aged 4-10 years. Siblings, cousins, friends, aunties, uncles and grandparents of all ages welcome.

Family Show – Friday 27th October at 4.30pm

A Square World

Tickets: £8
To culminate the wonderful week of activities, there will be an exciting family show called A Square World for ages 3-6, an honest, touching and quirky story of three friends and what happens when an unexpected change leaves one of them left out in the cold. Click here to find out more.
