We’re upgrading our systems!
We’re pleased to let you know that we’ll have a brand new website and booking system ready for you shortly. It’s something our team have been working on for a long time, and not even COVID-19 could stop us in bringing you this new and improved online experience.
Whilst we are making the necessary changes behind the scenes, we are unable to take any bookings and you won’t be able to login into your account at this time. We expect the new site to be up and running on/around Friday 25 September, so please check back then.
Many thanks for your patience and support at this time.
This performance is carefully tailored for people with dementia and their families or carers so that everyone can enjoy the wonder of theatre at Nottingham Playhouse in an environment that is comfortable and supportive.
The great thing about panto is that it includes a variety of songs, many of which are old classics, and music stays in the memory. People can join in, sing along and reminisce.

Here are some of the ways this performance is Dementia Friendly:
• The volume of music will be reduced when dialogue is taking place.
• Changing seats during the performance is fine and so is leaving the performance and re-entering.
• There will be additional signage with pictures in the foyers.
• There will be a quiet room, before after and during the show.
• There will be more staff on hand to support.
• A very relaxed attitude to moving around the theatre and making noise.
