Wednesday 18 February at 7.45pm

Main House - Pay What You Can!

This performance of Posh is a ‘Pay What You Can’ performance.

We’re proud that coming to see a production at Nottingham Playhouse is already very reasonable, but thanks to a partnership between us and the Nottingham Post, great theatre is now even more accessible with our Pay What You Can performances.

Join us for Posh on Wednesday 18 February at 7:45pm and pay…whatever you can. 1p, 50p, £1, £5; whatever you can afford to give us, that’s what the tickets cost for that performance. All you need to do in advance is download and print out the Pay What You Can form here. Then fill it out and bring it with you to the Box Office on Wed 18 Feb, along with however much money you want to pay for your ticket!

Tickets will only be available to purchase on the day of the performance, in person from Box Office and cannot be bought online or over the telephone. Box Office will be open from 10am and tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis and issued in sequence. No choice of ticket is possible. Tickets are limited to two per person. Payments must be made in cash only. Tickets cannot be exchanged to other performances or refunded. Subject to availability. If you have mobility requirements or use a wheelchair please contact Nottingham Playhouse Box Office on 0115 941 9419 on Wednesday 18 February only.

An elite Oxford dining society has hired a gastro pub for their termly dinner with the sole aim of getting totally ‘chateaued’. As the evening progresses and the booze flows, tempers fray and things get disastrously out of hand.

Darkly comic and disgracefully entertaining, Posh isn’t just one big party though: the boys are planning a revolution.

Inspired by the real-life Bullingdon Club, which counts the Prime Minister, Chancellor and Mayor of London amongst its former members, Laura Wade’s critically acclaimed play is a razorsharp portrayal of what Boris Johnson himself described as superhuman arrogance, toffishness and twittishness. As we look ahead to the next General Election, we explore what our leaders were really up to before we handed them the keys to power.

Welcome to the Riot Club.
