Zoo Indigo presents

Celluloid Souls

Playground Festival

Saturday 7 October 2017 at 7.45pm

Ustinov Room - Tickets: £11 (£9 concessions)

Celluloid Souls is an interactive and unique digital performance experience exploring our obsession with the cinema. Fusing live film and snippets of cinema in collaboration with media artist Barret Hodgson, the performers dive into the silver screen.

The female performance duo transform into Western cowboys and James Bond villains, accompanied by a live cinematic sound score by musician Matt Marks.

Zoo Indigo use audience contributions to create a tailor-made multimedia performance, including re-enactments of the spectators’ favourite films. The performance humorously challenges gender representation across movie genres, with a delicious assortment of cross-dressing, miscellaneous costumes, make up, and fake moustaches.
