Work Experience

Work Experience for Years 10, 11 and 12

Monday 1 – Friday 5 July 2019

Each year at Nottingham Playhouse we offer a week of intensive work experience for young people in school years 10-12. It’s a great chance to find out how a producing theatre works, and to highlight the many career opportunities in producing and making shows.

The week includes practical work with lots of departments, including lighting and sound, marketing, wardrobe, props, digital and much more. There is also the chance to work directly on a performance sharing in our Neville Studio.

Applications now open for Work Experience 2019

We run an informal interview process, and everyone who completes the simple application form will be offered an interview. Nothing needs to be prepared in advance for the interview, we just want to meet about you and hear about your interest in theatre and reasons for applying.

Our work experience programme is fully accessible, so please do let us know of any access requirements on your application form or feel free to contact us at participation@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk if you have any questions about the application process or the work experience week.

Applications close on Monday 25 March

Unfortunately we are not currently able to accept requests for 18+ work experience placements.
