Rom-com joy in comedian Sara Pascoe’s brand new adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic love story. Directed by Susannah Tresilian (Director of Posh, 2015), and with an original score from Emmy the Great, prepare yourself for a truthful, witty and imaginative staging of this brilliant novel.
This production will give your students full experience of Austen’s iconic novel, as it has been conceived to bring the story alive to a younger audience. Snippets of additional content will provide more insight into the setting and themes.
UNDERSTANDING PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, WITH DIRECTOR SUSANNAH TRESILIAN

Your students can gain an in-depth understanding of the 19th-century novel in this Masterclass aimed at English students.
Director Susannah Tresilian is working with comedian and playwright Sara Pascoe in adapting the novel and will share her understanding of the themes, events and aspects of the plot.
In this session we will address the writer’s’ social, historical and cultural context and how this has informed Susannah’s creative choices in staging the production.
