Nottingham Playhouse is excited to be launching a new Artist Development programme, Amplify, as we begin a fresh chapter under our new artistic leadership.

In recognition of the vast talent that exists within the region and the central role Nottingham Playhouse plays in the artistic ecology, we are re-imagining the opportunities and resources we provide local theatre-makers.

We want Nottingham Playhouse to be a hub for artists and are committed to developing a network where ideas can be shared, challenged and grown.

We want artists from this area to flourish. We want to support and build theatre-makers who are full of potential, who have talent and creativity, and who are resilient. We’ll be looking at bespoke ways of developing creatives in consultation with you. We’re also looking at national and international collaborations with other producers and organisations to find ways to really serve artists in this region and raise their profile.

Wednesday 7 March 6pm – 8pm Ustinov Room.

We want Amplify to be specific to local artists’ needs. This is a space for us to listen. How can we support local artists? What events or opportunities would grow your creative practice? What times and days work best for training opportunities? Come and have a discussion with us about how we can develop Amplify.
