We are delighted to hear today that Young Company member Evie Osbon has been offered a place at ALRA (Academy of Live and Recorded Arts). Evie will begin her three year acting degree in September.
ALRA has been established for 30 years and to this day is still the only drama school to offer training for all media – theatre, film, TV and radio – to students on its three year course. Comedian, actress and writer Miranda Hart and actress Sarah Parish are two of ALRA’s most well-known alumni.
Evie has been a member of our Youth Theatre for three years and a Young Company member for two. She performed in 4.48 Psychosis, Kisses on a Postcard, A Clockwork Orange and White Feathers with us.
Evie’s links to Nottingham Playhouse don’t end there as her father was part of the original architecture team that designed the Neville Studio.
Nottingham Playhouse has a strong commitment to developing the emerging artists of the future and we are all very proud of Evie and wish her a very happy three years at LARA.
