Next week we will launch our Golden Egg Hunt in conjunction with Brookfields Garden Centre. Get down to Brookfields every day during the half-term holidays and search for the Golden Egg. The hunt is on from Monday 21st to Friday 25th October, twice a day between 10:30 and 12:30 in the morning and between 2:30 and 3:30 in the afternoon. The lucky finder of the egg each time will win a family ticket to see Jack and the Beanstalk*. That’s 10 family tickets we’re giving away with the help of Brookfields. There is lots more to do and see at the Garden Centre besides, including a café and an aquatics centre, not to mention a wide range of garden products and friendly staff to provide expert advice with any of your outdoor questions.
Nottingham Playhouse is very excited to have teamed up with Brookfields Garden Centre this year to run some fun events alongside our pantomime – Jack and the Beanstalk. The family friendly Garden Centre has kindly donated to us over 300 packets of runner bean seeds, some of which were given away during our Open Day back in September, along with pots of Jack’s Magic compost. Andy and Josh from Brookfields spent the day with us and our visitors, giving advice on how to plant a bean and how to look after it. It was one of the most popular events of the day!
We are delighted to be partnering with Brookfields this year and we thank them for their donations of beans and compost.
Brookfields Garden Centre is at 431 Mapperley Plains, Mapperley, NG3 5RW
