We have appointed Jake Orr as our first ever Producer.
Jake currently works as Producer at Theatre503, London – where he has been based since August 2017. At Theatre503 he has produced the award-winning In Event of Moone Disaster by Andrew Thompson (The Stage Debut Awards), Off West-End award-winning Best New Play, Br’er Cotton by Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm and Wolfie by Ross Willis.
Jake is founder of A Younger Theatre and Incoming Festival, the latter saw 3000 audiences attend the festival in London, Manchester and Bristol earlier this year. In 2019 Jake set up Jake Orr Productions through which he is producing Charlotte Josephine’s Pops in a co-production with HighTide and Live Theatre.
He will start his new role at the end of October 2019.

Stephanie Sirr, Chief Executive at Nottingham Playhouse, added: “We are delighted to welcome Jake with his exceptional producing skills to the senior team at Nottingham Playhouse at a really exciting moment in our evolution.”
His appointment will see him work on up to 13 in-house productions per year in both our main theatre and Neville Studio. The role will also support West End transfers, tours and co-created projects. In addition Jake will help develop new writing and assist with programming.
