The hunt is still on for Cinderella’s lost slipper(s)!

Monday 19th September 2011

We hid 50 sparkly silver slippers across the city on Saturday morning for you to find in order to win some fantastic prizes!

The first slipper was brought back to us at 8.30am and the winner has won a group ticket to see our pantomime, Cinderella which runs from 25 November – 14 January, and more.

The 50 slippers were hidden at various locations across the city – some were chosen at random and some were chosen because they have a connection with the pantomime Cinderella. The clue really was in the name!

The good news is that there are still some slippers out there and if you find one and return it to the Playhouse by 12 noon on Saturday 24 September you will be able to claim a prize.

The Cinderella Slipper Hunt was organised to coincide with our Open Day where we welcomed visitors of all ages to take part in free activities and backstage tours of our landmark theatre. People also had the opportunity to work with our Artistic Director to see how the rehearsal process works.

If you can’t find a slipper in the city then don’t worry as you still have a chance to win a prize as there is a sparkly silver slipper hidden somewhere on this website. If you can find the slipper before 12 noon on Saturday please contact us, letting us know where you found it, and you will be entered into a draw for two tickets to see the panto and be the first to preview our special Cinderella online game.

And if you are in the area, look out for our very special giant sparkly silver slipper, made by the Playhouse’s creative team, on the roof of the theatre!
