The Nottingham Playhouse relay team successfully completed the Robin Hood Half Marathon yesterday in 2 hours 6 minutes – beating last year’s time by 2 minutes and raising over £400 for the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust.
Last year we ran as Golden Eggs in honour of our pantomime Mother Goose and this year we ran it as characters from this year’s pantomime Cinderella
Rich Surgay (Customer Relations Manager), Bea Grist (Marketing and Communications Manager), Derek Graham (Memberships Manager), Sarah Richard (Head of Paintshop) and Tony Topping (Deputy Technical Manager) donned their costumes and ran like the wind (or like people dressed in drag) to raise money for the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust which gives children and young people the chance to work with, be inspired by, and learn from the experience of world class sports stars.

A big well done also goes to Nick Lawford (Fundraising and Development Manager), Drew Baumohl (Deputy Head of Lighting and Sound) and Claire Thompson (Deputy Head of Paintshop) who all ran the whole half marathon.
Congratulations to everyone…now where’s that Deep Heat?
