Exciting Opportunity

Our Advanced Summer School is an exciting opportunity to spend three weeks working as part of a theatre company to produce a play which will then be performed at the first ever World Event Young Artists (WEYA).

World Event Young Artists

WEYA is the first event of its kind, bringing together and celebrating some of the best creative talent from across the world. 1000 artists aged 18-30 from 120 countries will come to Nottingham for 10 days, bringing the city to life with creative activity across all art forms.


We are looking for up to 12 people aged 18 to 25 years with some previous experience in creating theatre to join us and be part of WEYA. If you would like be one of them, please call us on 0115 941 9419 to register. Auditions will be held on 21 June, 6pm – 8pm.

Arts Awards

All those taking part in the summer school will also have the chance to take the Trinity Silver or Gold Arts Award as part of the programme.


You will need to be available from Monday 27 August to Sunday 16 September, 10am – 5pm (weekdays) and Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September.

If you successfully join us for the summer school, your place will cost £125. This fee is fully inclusive of Arts Awards fees.
