Spring booking now open for Backstage Pass Members

Wednesday 16th November 2011

Priority booking

As one of their benefits, members of our money-saving Backstage Pass scheme receive priority booking for most of our spring season shows. Public booking opens on Monday 21 November, but our ever-growing band of members can log in right now to take first pick of the seats – and at the best prices.

Discounts on performances

Backstage Pass is one of the most generous membership schemes in theatreland. An annual subscription of £30 (less if you’re under 26 or in Club Encore) brings generous ticket discounts for two people on every single Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company show throughout the year (the last night of panto being the sole exception). Members receive 20% off most performances, but it rises to 50% if you attend on a press night or one of the two following evenings. Or you can take in a preview for just £5 a ticket. And if you book for more than two people at a time, a Friends & Family membership at £40 extends those discounts for up to six people.

Free tickets and programmes

As if the deal wasn’t sweet enough, members receive two free preview tickets and programmes when joining, pay no booking fees or postage, save 20% on drinks and a la carte dining for up to four in CAST and enjoy extra discounts at other restaurants, shops and venues in the city. Members can experience some of our visiting shows for half price.

Exclusive events

We also run a string of exclusive events, newsletters and email updates to give members the inside track on the work we do. And all the while, they bask in the knowledge they’re helping to support a registered charity as it continues to make first-rate theatre in and for Nottingham.

2012-13 pantomime

Backstagers have another perk coming next week. Even before our current panto Cinderella opens, our 2012-13 pantomime will be on sale to members. Booking for Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood opens exclusively to Backstage Pass members on Monday 21 November, before being thrown open to the public on Friday 25 November, when the curtain rises on Cinderella.

How to join

If you’re not yet a member, let Nottingham Playhouse play Fairy Godmother to you, too. Join today online or by calling 0115 941 9419 – and you too can make immediate savings for our spring season before booking fully opens to the world at large.
