For a second year running we’re excited to give your child the chance to design a piece of artwork for our pantomime programme.
All they need to do is submit an Aladdin inspired coloured drawing. This can be with colouring pencils, crayons or paint but it must be A4 size and portrait.
The competition is open to 5-11 year olds and the winning drawing will feature in the Aladdin programme and be seen by more than 45,000 people!
The winner will not only receive a signed copy of the programme but also a family ticket to see the panto, a chance to meet some of the cast and a goody bag!
Four runners-up will also be included in the programme and will win a family ticket to the show. Every child who enters will see their artwork on display for a limited time at the Playhouse.
For some inspiration here’s a sneak preview at the costumes and set designs. Drawings and model boxes created by designer Tim Meacock.
How To Enter
Drawings should be sent to: Drawing Competition, Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus, Nottingham, NG1 5AF, or dropped in at the Box Office for the attention of the Marketing team. Please include your name, age, phone number and email address on the back of your entries.
The competition is open for entries until Monday 7 November. All drawings will be judged by a panel including director Kenneth Alan Taylor and our panto Dame, John Elkington.
Aladdin runs at Nottingham Playhouse from Friday 25 November – Saturday 21 January.
