Nottingham Playhouse is thrilled to have won the Nottingham Post Environmental Development Award, for our commitment to delivering a Greener Playhouse. The scheme has taken five years to come to fruition and has been made possible by the support of some incredible partners.
Future Factory at NTU helped get the Playhouse on the right path, aided by architects Marsh Grochowski with their innovative solutions to thermal efficiency in a Grade 2* listed building. Gleeds managed the project throughout and supported the Playhouse in all aspects of the project from beginning to end.
The project would not have happened at all without the significant funding support of Arts Council England and Nottingham City Council. The Playhouse is also very grateful to Sir Harry Djanogly for his generous donation, and to all the patrons of the Playhouse who donated everything from 50p to £500 during our fundraising drive.
You can read more about the awards ceremony over on the Nottingham Post website.
