Along with a number of different partners, the BBC have today launched Get Creative – a year-long initiative to celebrate and raise both awareness and participation in the arts, culture and creativity across the UK
Never ones to shy away from celebrating all things creative, Nottingham Playhouse got stuck in! Early this morning, four members of our Youth Theatre as well as members from our Marketing and Participation Departments went down to Market Square and set up shop in one of the Big Wheel pods, Dracula style!
Despite the early start and pouring rain, everyone had a brilliant time and there were a whole host of various Nottingham-based arts organisations set up in each pod of the Big Wheel, including our very own Mouthy Poets. Our Dracula actors were filmed by the BBC too and you can catch a glimpse of them on the early evening BBC East Midlands News tonight.
Dracula is being performed by Nottingham Playhouse Youth Theatre in April and tickets will be on sale at the start of March.
