Any theatre lover would love to own a Backstage Pass membership and be rewarded with the massive savings it brings on our shows – up to 50% on every main stage show produced by Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company throughout the year. As a welcome, members are also entitled to a free pair of preview tickets, and they’ll enjoy extra savings, news and invitations all the year round – including exclusive events.

At £35, a year’s membership will let your loved one book discounted seats for two people each time – or they can book up to six with Friends & Family membership at £45.

Delivery for Christmas may have passed but there’s still time to buy one as a gift! To order please call the Box Office on 0115 941 9419 by noon on Wednesday 23 December, you can then collect it from the Box Office on Christmas Eve. You will be able to specify who it’s for, and also what date you’d like it to begin.

Dinner on Stage: Dick Whittington

If you know someone who just can’t get enough of panto, we bet they’d love to join us for our special Dinner on Stage on Sunday 10 January at 7pm. It’s a unique opportunity to dine right on the celebrated Playhouse stage, with Artistic Director Giles Croft and Chief Executive Stephanie Sirr as your hosts – and Kenneth Alan Taylor himself as guest of honour.

Hear tales of Panto Past and Panto Present, enjoy quizzes and surprises – and of course a sumptuous feast from CAST. Tickets for the Dinner on Stage are £65 and all proceeds go to support the continued work of Nottingham Playhouse on stage and around the city.

If you would like to treat a loved one to an evening at the theatre like no other, please contact Sanpreet Janjua by calling 0115 873 6235 or emailing

You can give a loved one a permanent presence at Nottingham Playhouse this Christmas by dedicating a seat in our historic auditorium.

We’ll mark your support of the Playhouse with your choice of wording on a special plaque which is installed on the back of your choice of seat.

“I chose to dedicate a seat in honour of my mother who has been a keen theatregoer all her life. It felt right to mark her name on a seat to recognise her joy in theatre and my thanks that she passed that love onto me.”
Valerie Leyland, seat N5

To dedicate a seat costs £200 (£160 for Backstage Pass members) – just call the Box Office on 0115 941 9419 to find out more.
