We are delighted to announce that the Olivier award-winning actor Adrian Scarborough will join Mark Gatiss in The Madness of George III, taking on the role of Dr. Willis. Scarborough, who is also due to appear with Gatiss in the upcoming Disney film, Christopher Robin, is best known for his involvement in hit TV sitcom Gavin and Stacey and appearance in Oscar winning film The King’s Speech, as well as his National Theatre performances in King Lear, and After the Dance. Commenting on the casting, director Adam Penford said: “Adrian Scarborough and I have been looking for a project to work on together for a long time. He and Mark Gatiss are two of the UK’s leading theatre actors; their combined talents on stage in this modern classic will be theatrical dynamite. Nottingham’s in for a real treat!”
