1984 transfers to the West End

Thursday 13th March 2014

Back in September 2013 our co-production with Headlong of a new adaptation of 1984 caught the imagination of audiences and critics. After its time at Nottingham Playhouse it enjoyed a hugely successful national tour. Its success brought with it a transfer to London’s Almeida Theatre and now, following a sell-out run there, it will transfer to the Playhouse Theatre in the West End for a strictly limited 12-week run from 28 April – 19 July. As an originating co-producer we are pleased to let you know about an early bird offer.

If you book by 31 March you will be eligible to buy a top-price ticket for £39.50 (standard price £52.50). This offer is valid for all performances until 15 May. Simply quote Early Booker when booking.

This week we were also delighted to learn that 1984 has been nominated for Best New Play at the Olivier Awards.

In addition to being able to purchase top price tickets at £39.50 every performance offers 101 seats at £19.84*
