1984 continues to impress

Since its world premiere at Nottingham Playhouse on 13 September 2013 and the successful tour that followed, 1984 continues to make an impact at London’s Almeida Theatre.

The new adaptation of George Orwell’s classic text by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan received wide critical acclaim upon its premiere at Nottingham Playhouse, and has done so again achieving five star reviews in The Times, Financial Times, The Observer, Time Out and What’s On Stage.
