In line with Government health advice, and to ensure the health and safety of our communities, Nottingham Playhouse is currently closed to the public. We are working towards re-opening and will update this webpage with further information when our plans are confirmed.

Productions and events
We’re sad to say that all indoor performances until the end of August are no longer able to go ahead as planned, and our Box Office team are in the process of contacting everyone with a booking. When we get in touch, we’ll update you on the status of the show and discuss your options for cancelled or postponed events. This communication will generally come by email, to the address we have on record for you. Please make sure you check all your folders for this communication (including junk and promotion) – our emails will come from either news@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk or tickets@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk.

Please be assured we are working as quickly as possible to contact all customers in turn but, naturally, this will take a little time. We’re also working hard to confirm changes to all other future programming as soon as possible.

How you can support us
Nottingham Playhouse has been heavily affected by current events as we rely on ticket income for over 70% of our income. We would be immensely grateful if ticket holders could consider the following options.

By allowing us to retain all or part of your ticket price as a donation to our charitable trust, or by exchanging your ticket value for account credit, you would be helping to ensure the future of the Playhouse beyond these very challenging times. For all performances that are postponed, we can also keep hold of your tickets and re-book you in once new performance dates are confirmed.

Join us online
Our doors may be closed, but there’s still plenty you can enjoy online – from our new Amplify podcast, to our documentary series The Revival and activities for children. Visit our Digital Playhouse for all the latest, and don’t forget to follow us on social media.

We’ve also held a number of online events since our closure in March, with more to come – including the return of our brand new Zoom play for families, Noah and the Peacock. Be sure to keep an eye on our What’s On page for future events.

How you can get in touch with us
If you have a specific query about an existing booking, please contact us by email at tickets@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk. We’ll be available by email Monday to Friday, 10am – 5.30pm. We are also operating a limited phone service on 0115 941 9419, open 10am – 2pm Monday to Friday, for those with more urgent queries. Don’t worry if you don’t get through straight away during these times – please hold and we’ll pick up as soon as we can.
