James Graham

James Graham’s recent theatre work includes Labour of Love which won Best New Comedy at the Olivier Awards 2018, and Ink which was nominated for Best Play at the Evening Standard Theatre Award; Quiz, which transferred from the Chichester Minerva Theatre to the West End in 2018; The Culture – A Farce in Two Acts performed as part of the Hull UK City of Culture 2017.

Previous plays include This House at the National Theatre in 2012 before moving into the West End and a UK tour; Privacy transferred from the Donmar to the Public Theater in New York in 2016; Monster Raving Loony which opened at the Plymouth Drum before moving to the Soho Theatre in 2016, and The Vote which was broadcast live on television on election night, 2015.

James’ television includes the political drama Coalition (Channel 4) and Caught in a Trap (ITV1).
His first feature film X+Y was released in 2015 after being selected at the Toronto International Film Festival and London Film Festival and won the Writer’s Guild Award for Best Debut Screenplay.

He is currently writing a Brexit single drama for Channel 4.
