Exchanges and Refunds

For bookings of less than ten tickets, customers may request a refund on tickets that they can no longer use by returning the tickets to us, no later than the day before the first performance of a Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company main-stage production. This does not apply to shows not on the main-stage, visiting work or guest hires when tickets are non-refundable unless in an event of cancellation. For Groups and School bookings there are no full refunds available however we understand your class or group size may change; after payment you will be able to change your booking by 10%, up to one week before the start of the run, and receive a full refund on the returned tickets. If you need to discuss an exchange of date please also contact the Box Office.

Once a show has opened we can offer to exchange your tickets to another performance of the same run of a Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company production free of charge. Should the value of the new ticket be higher, the difference must be paid. If the value of the ticket is lower, no refund or credit will be due. Your original tickets must be returned to the Box Office at least 24 hours before the original performance booked. We regret however that tickets may not be exchanged between different productions.

There may be occasions where exchanges are not available and The Management reserves the right to refuse a ticket exchange.

Tickets must not be resold. This includes the resale of tickets for profit, in which circumstances The Management reserves the right to cancel the booking or refuse admission without notice and without being obliged to refund monies.

Making a simple donation of £1 each time you book tickets could have a major impact on the future of the Playhouse. For further information on donations and fundraising activities please contact Sanpreet Janjua on 0115 873 6235.

Nottingham Playhouse has a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award which is awarded for businesses in the top 10% of all positive reviews.
