The Young Critics’ Circle Scheme is an exciting educational initiative created by Nottingham Playhouse.  The scheme is free of charge for pupils in full time education.  Since its launch in 2001 the scheme has gone from strength to strength with over 40 schools taking part.  Secondary schools from across the region can elect two pupils to take part.  Pupils then visit the Playhouse for a workshop, see a Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company production and share an interval drink with members of the press before creating a ’response’ to the show.  Below are some examples of work by Critics’ Circle participants.
