Beatrice wants to marry Alsemero but her father has other plans. Meanwhile, her servant - the hideous de Flores - would do anything to win her. When she askshim to dispose of her unwanted bridegroom, de Flores obliges. She tries to pay him off with gold but her obsessed servant has another reward in mind: Beatrice herself. Initially repulsed, her desire is ignited and their torrid alliance propels themon a journey of lust, lunacy and death.
